Preparation for this performance is minimal There are no sound or lighting design charts, sets, props, costumes or carry-on materials. John performs in tie and jacket or tuxedo.
Whether semiformal or formal attire, there is a light-hearted atmosphere as John introduces some of the most beautiful songs ever written for the Broadway and Operetta stages. For venues with other than concert or recital hall acoustics, the "in-house" amplification will need to be used for both artists.
Annkatrin will need lighting on the piano for her music and John needs some extra lighting as available in the House. A short piano / vocal test is all that is needed and the concert is ready.
